There have been times when I've gotten impatient and considered it, actually- but Darien and I have already put too much effort into planning the wedding of our dreams- my dreams, mostly- and I don't want to give that up.

The wedding may not be as important as the marriage, but it's still going to be the most important single day in our lives, and I want it to be perfect. Which means exchanging our vows and rings in front of our family and friends, having beautiful decorations, and then a nice buffet dinner (and dancing!) with everyone we care about. And then, of course, we'll leave for a honeymoon where we can travel around every day, going wherever we want, and seeing the places we've always wanted to see. After a few nights of being pampered somewhere, that is. ^_^

Ah my. I've rambled long enough. See why eloping just won't work?
