I've been on the opposite end more often, during the times I've moved away. It's the same feeling, though.

I felt somewhat similar. It's good to have something remain constant when everything else is changing. But like Brunnen-G said, the other people *will* still be in your life, just differently. You also get to meet new people, and it's really great when you make a connection with someone. (It's been my experience that these are usually the people you meet by accident, and not through any of the arranged activities they have for that purpose. Maybe that's just me, though.)

> I can't wait to get my braces off. I've had them for 5 years and i hate them but my teeth are almost straight and I'll get them off in just a couple months. So I'm excited.

It's wonderful to get those five tons of metal out of your mouth. They might put two and half tons of metal and plastic back in, but at least you can take a retainer out when you want to.

> There might be something very wrong with me. Every now and then, I get this weird pressure in the right side of my chest and it gets all tingly and sometimes it spreads down my arm and it's really weird. So I finally remembered to tell my parents (because it happened when they were around) and now I'm going to the doctor's on Monday and I'll probably get sent for special tests. It's kinda scary.

I know that it's hard not to be nervous about such a thing. (I'm *always* nervous about medical problems and seeing doctors.) All I can say is that it's good that something's going to be done about it. Brunnen-G already said this as well, but there are many not-scary things it could be. If you didn't think it too forward of me, though, would you mind if I said a prayer for you? I know that I don't know you super-well but I would like to do that.

> Guys make no sense. But I've said that before.

Hey! It's absolutely true, but still.... :)
