Well, the first things that spring to mind when I hear of window stickers are those yellow signs that say things like, "Baby on Board." I really don't understand the point of them at all.

As for being less silly, I think it is about the same. I've seen plenty of window stickers on cars, so I don't think these 'special' stickers would stand out any more. Additionally, the window stickers would be harder to see, especially if a car is driving at 55 mph.
