Like what troubling things, please?
> That is artificial intelligence. There is very little to artificial intelligence beyond that kind of thing: intelligent searching. The thing about AI is, it truly does make it look like computers are thinking and learning. Once you know how it all works, it's shockingly underwhelming. The potential for computers to become self-aware and ultimately consider humans unnecessary and candidates for extermination isn't there.
Even taking a biological approach, with Neural Networking methodologies and attempts to incorporate Fuzzy Logic schemes into computer "learning" routines (so that machines select decision pathways in a fashion more similar to human thought patterns), I'm not holding my breath. We're a long way away from sentient AI. Would we want self-aware machines that think like humans? I don't know. I don't think so. We as separate individual persons have this tendency to absorb the exact same data input and from this same information, come to wildly divergent conclusions. Opinions, we call it :-)
