> I don't know where you got your lox, but it's no wonder you hated it. Lox is more commonly the name for sliced raw or smoked salmon. A traditional "bagel & lox" meal is a bagel and a plate with lox, cream cheese, onions, tomatoes, and capers; you pick and choose what you put on yours.

I'm beginning to wonder if *anybody* got the joke.
As for bagels, I'll take mine with orange marmalade, or,if I can't get that, cream cheese.
I've never been much of a fish eater, but I do eat a little tuna and on rare occasions, salmon. But I don't eat raw fish.
