The Baron's son was Rabban, the younger but also fat red-haired guy who ate the raw tongue and was nicknamed "The Beast Rabban" in the book. In the movie, the Emperor Corrino had Rabban beheaded and then brought Baron Harkonnen in and showed him his son's head on the floor...I can't remember if that scene was in the book or not. > > Gri"Sting? Harkonnen's son? He's too thin and handsome!"shny
OK, so shoot me for not mentioning Mentats. I thought they took spice to utilize their mental powers...Anyway, I seem to recall that in the book, the guy Muad'Dib fought at the end was Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, Baron Harkonnen's other son (other than Beast Rabban). I really need to go out and rent that movie...and I don't think the beheading of Rabban was in the book. I could be wrong, though.
