Think of it as a lazy person's milkshake. Applesauce on gingerbread is great, but still doesn't beat hot lemon suace over Sarah Lee pound cake. > > > > koala"you're making me drool"mom > > > I feel much as Ellmyruh does about pudding and jello... eww. I won't even eat pudding if it's chocolate, which says much. Even the way it jiggles and bounces when you poke it with a spoon - well, do you want to eat something that shows more signs of life than many people you know? > > A friend of mine used to put milk in his ice cream all the time, which I thought was so nasty I couldn't watch him eat it. Then again, he couldn't watch when I put applesauce in my Rice Krispies (it's really good in cornflakes, too....). And there are very, very few things that don't taste good with peanut butter on a sandwich - except jelly. > > Alright, I'm done rambling now. :-) > > -Fob"time for lunch now"ulis
Granted, this has nothing to do with pudding, but all this talk of pouring wilk into where it just *doesn't* belong reminded me of a friend... remember this is NOT about me!.. A FRIEND of mine (did I mention that it was a friend and not me?) told me of when he and his sister were kids and how they would eat popcorn balls. They would put the popcorn ball into a bowl and pour milk all over it. (EW!) The milk would then dissolve the sugars that are binding the popcorn into a ball leaving them with a bowl of cold, mushy popcorn floating around in sweet milk. (AAAAAAAHHHHHHHCKKKKKKK!!!!!) Then they'd eat it with a spoon. --Okay, now my flesh is crawling... I need to leave this thread.
