For the record, I actually have a bazooka at home. I'm not going to get any more detail than that, though, except to say that it's perfectly legal and that I haven't actually killed anyone with it yet.
You'll find out more if I ever actually make it to a RinkConvention (maybe in 2005?), and if the joke is still going by then.
>His mom is just starting to get interested in computers, so I think she'll come around eventually.
Hehehe...I don't. My mom on the Internet is one thing. My mom on a chatroom is something to be expected when a flying pig crashes through my window because it was drunk and didn't see the glass.
>After we talked, we took a few pictures, and then Kaz and his family were on their way again.
Ironically not quite...you'll find out more when I type out the log on August 10th (Hey, I gotta keep the suspense!).
>...so Kaz was the only one who brought cookies. Oh, and for the record, I did NOT eat any of them!
Yeah, but you DRANK THE ARSE -- WATER! I was talking with my family in the car earlier, and said that you would probably eat the cookies and not drink the water. Well, that just goes to show what I know.
After all, all people on the internet are actually fake people who are nothing like what they are in real life, right, Mom?
Incidentally, I ate the cookies later, and I'm still okay, so they were perfectly safe.

Seriously, though, I think that Ellmyruh covered the meeting pretty well. Oh, and for the record, Jimmy, yes, we were doing 80 (MILES AN HOUR, not KILOMETERES), but so was everyone else on the 113 so we had to go that fast just to avoid getting rear-ended. Our engine oil isn't used to 100 degree weather, but we didn't bust a radiator. It was the FUEL PUMP! For that story, though, you'll have to wait until I get back to Edmonton.
Right now, I'm in San Francisco (on my mother's uncle's computer, a PIII-733 with a 128 MB GeForce+ graphics card *drools*...but the best program they had on it before I got here was, like, Minesweeper. Well, I played Minesweeper all morning. I've been away from a computer for too long). So, greetings to everyone from San Francisco!
