Still seemed pretty British to me overall. Not that there's anything wrong with that. :-)

As much as I loved the first book, I think this is the best yet. Great plot, character development, tone, everything. Rowling is doing a fabulous job with this series.

I love the way she sets up the next book, too. Certainly looks like it'll be action-packed, doesn't it?

Now here's the thing. I noticed two paragraphs fairly late in the book that completely made me rethink a certain major character. While I'd need to reread the books with this theory in mind, I've come to suspect that I might know what the final, mind-blowing Book 7 plot twist could be.

I'd like to discuss my idea with fellow Potter lovers. (I'd put it here, but I'd hate to give spoilers to book 4, which might be necessary.) Anyone know of a newsgroup or anything?
