> Did you hear about the guy who became a grandfather on his tenth birthday anniversary?

The first thing that popped into my head when I read this was a wonderful song from the 1940s called "I'm my Own Grandpa."

The premise was that this guy was married to a widow. The widow's daughter (now his son) married his father.

This made his dad his son-in-law, and therefore his daughter was his mother because she was his father's wife.

Then, he had a child, who became his Dad's brother-in-law, and therefore his uncle. And if the kid's his uncle then that also makes him brother to the widow's daughter, who is our hero's stepmother.

Then, his dad had a child, so as his daughter's son this child became his grandson. However, as his father's son, this child also became his brother.

Now, if our hero is the kid's grandpa, then his wife is the kid's grandma. However, as brother of the kid, his wife is his grandmother.

So, as husband of his grandmother, he is his own grandpa!

Confused yet? Good. :-)

Mar"my kingdom for the Cleaver family"kus K.
