The weird part is, that stuff is REALLY GOOD! It has this strange chewy feel to it, not like the actual ice cream. Anyone have thoughts on this, or on ice cream in general?
I tried Breyer's cherry and strawberry ice creams recently and liked them very much. They were quite good in flavour and texture.
As for the "crud" on the inside of the lid of any commercially-made ice cream, the stuff's in the commercial ice cream for a reason. Let's just say that if your freezer accidentally defrosted completely... and the Breyer's or Sealtest had been in there... then the contents of the container wouldn't actually melt and be reduced into a puddle!
