I don't know anything about Portland, except that it's not too incredibly far from where I live. If you took route 26 east from Portland into Ohio, then took Ohio 49 south to Greenville, then took Ohio 36 east to I-75 at Piqua, Ohio, you'd be only about 7 miles north of Troy, Ohio, which is where my humble abode lies.

Of course, you live near Murfreesboro, TN if memory serves me correctly, so you'll probably take I-65 north through Kentucky into Indiana, so you won't come anywhere near us. Too bad. We could have done lunch or something.

What are you going to Portland for? There's not much around there that I can see. There's the Limberlost State Historical site about 10 miles north in Geneva, and some sort of Glass Museum in Dunkirk to the west. I don't see anything else around there on my map. Do you have relatives there? Or are you going there for some sort of obscure motorscooter show?
