We have a store here locally that will do a complete system diagnostic for $39.99. Not a bad deal if you have no idea where to start, and would rather not spend countless hours or dollars trying one solution, only to find that it didn't fix everything.

Grab the Yellow Pages™, and start calling some major computer stores to see if they offer any similar types of service.
