Well, on the most memorable trips I've had, some or
many things went completely wrong, but I got through
it together with my company, and had a great time
after all. And afterwards, you have the memories of all
that went wrong, and you can laugh at it and say it
ended well after all.

Of course, this doesn't apply to trips where absolutely
everything goes wrong and you are totally miserable all
the time... But then, these trips are rare--at least in my
book.
