I love a good baked potato, but only if it has been slowly oven-baked. Nuked potatos just aren't the same. French fries RULE, and Rally's has the best, with their spicy fries. Among other fries, I think I like Arby's homestyle over the rest. Steak N Shake fries are too skinny; you have to eat a handful at a time to really get anything out of them. Steak fries RULE also. Crinkle-cut fries are okay, but kind of annoyingly shaped. Waffle fries are wierd, but good. I don't really care for curly fries all that much.

Yes! Someone will agree with me! I've never understood what the big deal is about mashed potatoes! They dry your mouth out and there never seems to be enough gravy to cover them! If I'm missing something here, will someone kindly fill me in on what it is?

As for curly fries, they have there moments. I won't touch the ones in my school cafeteria, which actually squirt grease when you bite into them (shudder).

In fact, the only thing at our cafeteria that's still safe is the salad bar. Even then, you have to be careful to only take the lettuce on top, as it's the only lettuce the lunch ladies change on a regular basis.
