I sometimes write my t's that way -- crossing them then and there instead of waiting until the end of the word -- except that I still don't lift the pen from the paper. So some of my t's have a little loop on the left half of the cross, where I come back up from the bottom and loop counterclockwise into the cross piece.

However, other times I do wait and cross the t's at the end of the word. On words that have small letters after the t, like in "web site," I'll finish the word, then, again without lifting pen from paper, zip back and cross the t. My writing actually has quite a dramatic flair to it now and again. My family has told me that I have an 'executive' signature.

Occasionally I dot my 'i's without lifting pen from paper, too, although usually I do. I'll leave it to your imaginations how this could still be legible.
