"The Hiding Place" by Corrie ten Boom is an amazing book, although as I was typing this I realized that it's an autobiography, not a biography. I once read a biography of Eva Braun (Hitler's mistress), and that was fascinating. I suppose the book is much more interesting if you are fascinated with World War II, though.
