I have never really figured out what syntax is.
I don't think it is a tax on sin, but that does sound like a good way to greatly increase the tax base.
The first time I ever got my hands on a prehistoric Apple II, it kept accusing me of syntax errors, but never told me what that was. Computers are like that. They always hold back the most important information. I guess you have to wring it out of them.
Syntax must have something to do with language, but if it's about computer language, I wouldn't understand it anyway. Syntax is xatnys spelled backwards, but that doesn't help much.
