I'd love to know in what context you've had the chance to use "yclept" in conversation. When I was at university I ended up thinking in Middle English half the time, especially around exams when I wasn't getting much sleep. I sometimes found myself using words and phrases in conversation that tended to make people think I was either insane or had just fallen out of a time warp somewhere. Maybe both.
