Having grown tired of car chases, I will now switch to something completely different:

Wouldn't it be funny if the little Cuban kid went back to Havanna and overthrew the Castro Government? But alas, by the time he gets old enough to do that, Castro will have died of old age. Could happen any day now.

The Confederate flag is going to have to go. As much as it represents the old South, it offends some of our citizens and it has to go.

Old Glory is going to have to go. The original people of this continent endured swarms of mounted soldiers riding with this flag, killing innocent natives. They are offended by this flag and it has to go.

The Union Jack has to go. Citizens of New England saw red-coated soldiers marching through their streets carrying this flag and shooting up towns. New Englanders are offended by this flag and it has to go.

In western Kentucky, there stands a tall spire that resembles the Washington Monument in Washington D.C.. It is known as the Jefferson Davis Memorial. He was the president of the Confedercy and it's presence offends the decendents of slaves. It has to go.

On the side of Stone Mountain, Georgia, the carved figures of four Confederate generals also offend some people. It has to go.

The University of Connecticut pounded the University of Tennessee Lady Vols in the NCAA final. I am offended. UConn has to go.

Just kidding of course, but where does it all end?
Are we setting precedents that are going to be hard to live with? Personally, I have always respected the Stars and Bars, but I would never fly it, now that I know that some people are (justifiably) offended by it. I wish South Carolina would see it that way. Either way, I'm going to Myrtle Beach this summer.

Everything else on the news is even more political than these stories. No comment.
