Actually, I say we go whole-hog and 'metrify' everything. Get rid of that silly base 60 time measurement thing. There should be 100 seconds in a minute, 100 minutes in an hour, and 10 hours in a day. I leave it up to the eggheads to figure out how long each unit would have to be to make that work. Actually, there should be 100 hours in a day, to keep it a nice smooth progression. Then we'd also have 100 time zones world-wide, to confuse the heck out of everyone even more.

Another silly base 60 thing we inherited from the Babylonians is the silly 360 degrees in a circle thing. Get rid of that. 100 degrees for each circle, thank you.

All those silly nautical terms have to go, too (sorry Brunnen-G!). No more nautical miles, knots, fathoms or any silly stuff like that. Toss it out!

Then, when we're done with that, women's dress sizes have to go too. Nobody understands them anyway. Is a 12 normal or fat? Is anyone really a size 2? Gah. Measure in real measurements or don't measure at all. Same thing goes for shoe sizes. The length of your foot should be your shoe size. In centimeters, of course.

Don't forget what Sam said about bits and bytes, either. There should be 1000 bytes to the kilobyte, not 1024! We gotta fix that too. Screw those naysaying computer people and their silly binary system. DECIMAL DECIMAL DECIMAL!!

Eggs should come in packs of 10, not 12. 10-packs of soda should be the norm, with 50 cans to the case. 10 hot dogs in a package, please.

Shall I go on?
