Anyone who wants to plow/disk/whatever would have to go through at least 3 feet of compacted snow, figure out a way to unthaw the ground, and only then worry about planting anything. I think all the farmer's should be able to start planting in about 6 weeks....

I'm in Georgia now. About 170 miles south of home, and it's colder here. Still, all of the trees and flowers are blooming. I'm headed another 150 miles south tomorrow. Spring should be in full song down there.
