Oh, man. This is what I get for making predictions too early. I never should have said that no movie was going to take more than four awards -- I'm beginning to suspect a "Beauty" sweep.

I am actually changing my picks for Actor and Actress at this stage in the game. I *never* do that. (Thanks, SAG Awards...) And although I'm sticking with Cruise for Supporting Actor -- because I'm convinced Hollywood is dying to finally give him an Oscar already -- it really could be Caine or Osment.

And although I'm not picking him now, as I originally did (because I'm a coward), let me say here for the record: I would not be the teensiest bit surprised if Richard Farnsworth is the night's big upset.
