Howard made me thought of posting here about this question, given his car race fandom.

There's a song Alabama sings called "Five O'Clock Five Hundred." It's about how the commute home after a long day's work is something like a chaotic car race. Here's the first two lines of the chorus:

It's that five o'clock five hundred, and I run it every day.
Pick-up trucks, cars, and busses -- all in my way.

And then comes a line I'm not sure I have correctly, but unless this belongs in the misheard lyrics thread, it goes:

We've got Darrell, we've got Dale, Richard, Mark, Rusty in jail.

Assuming that's correct, what the HECK does it mean? My guess is that these people are racecar drivers. I know Rusty Wallace and Dale Earnhardt, but that's the extent of my racecar driver knowledge, and I'm not sure if they even predate the song. But either way, what the heck would they be doing in JAIL, and what does that have to do with commuting home on a crowded highway?
