> Howard, if you get the chance, tour Wales (Brecon Beacons and Snowdownia particularly) on a motorbike. The roads are sinuous and not too busy, and the scenery you just can't appreciate from inside a tin box (same goes for anywhere else!)

Now you've really got my attention! I wonder if I can slip my '47 Cushman into my carry-on bag? Can you rent scooters or motorbikes in Wales? Some places I've been such as Santa Catalina, Key West, and Hawaii, you can rent a car cheaper than a scooter.
