In light of the fact that the Academy Awards hype is about to start.....
Can anybody remember the name of the movie in which Denzel Washington played a southerner with a little girl who teams up with a blonde floozy and travels across the south in Nov. of 1963? I have seen parts of it on TV a couple of times and never heard the name of the movie. I also haven't been able to place his co-star, although I'm sure I've seen her in numerous other movies. The reason I bring this up, is that after watching Washington in a few scenes, I picked him as an Academy Award contender. Not for that movie. It had a too much stuff that had been done before, but the two leads were great and worked well together. Can somebody prime my brain on this?
