Once the mind is dead the body follows. It happenes in comic books I carracter goes into either VR or the Astral Plane, they get killed there, their mind never gets back to their bodies so they die. Also if the body is killed the mind will die as well. Can't have one and not the other.

You might argue that they could only *bend* the laws of physics. They couldn't, for instance, fly, they could only *pause* in the air or jump farther than normal. But they still had to comply, eventually, to the laws. And I'd have to agree that you'd be right. But I still wonder how the mind could have that kind of a grasp on the reality of things and have absolutely *no* effect on death.

Except for the "agents" and the octopus things there was nothing indicating any interaction with the AI at all. And since the agents were in the Matrix too, and the octopus things were search and destroy only, I don't see how either of them could have been responsible for knowing what he looked like.

I have brought these arguments to several people with mixed results but no one has, as of yet, been able to make me comfortable with their answers.

But when a show like that is made to show the possibilities of our future I think it should be as accurate as it can be. It isn't too deep of a subject to think that he would not have known what his *true* face looked like. All I'm saying is that I think the realism would have been enhanced if he had seen himself in a mirror and not known who he was looking at because his face in his mind and his face in reality were not the same.

However I can accept the explanation Speed-Ball gave that they tried false images once before in the Utopian Matrix and people rebelled against it because they instinctively knew that things weren't right.

I know most of you aren't in the least bit concerned about this. But it is important to me that movies like this one be accurate. I mean if someone has the imagination and intellect to think the thing up and develope the script as fully as they did, is it really too much to ask that they explain how he knew what he looked like?
