I just felt like throwing something out into the abyss that is know as the rinkworks forum. Does any of you like to bike? Regularly? Share a tale, would ya?
I'll go first...I took a school trip with my high school freshman year, and we took five days to go to Death Valley. We rode every day from a nice little base camp. It was in early March, so we had great weather, and it ruled. We went about 20-30 miles a day, and on the last day they vanned us into Nevada and we rode back to a parking lot. It was a dirt road that started as a ten mile uphill, an pain, if you will, but I was the fastest of the group, never switched out of 2-4, and finished five minutes ahead of everyone. Then we had lunch at the top, and continued down to another uphill, this one about a mile, then we went down through to the parking lot, through Titus Canyon, about 15-20 miles. It was beautiful, and the most fun thing I have ever done. I remember that there was not one ride that I didn't finish before the rest. Well, those were fun times.
