If I understand it right, Tennessee has a new law saying that telemarketers can be fined if they call you after you put your phone number on a state "don't call" list. The system will be up and running in about three months.

Properly used, this could bring in so much fine money, the legislature could reduce taxes!

Question: If they can do it for my phone number, why can't they do it for my email address?
Is that just wishful thinking?
