A pocket watch! The first watch I ever had was a pocket watch. Then about three years ago, I broke the band on my wrist watch the same day the batteries went dead, so I bought a $20 pocket watch just to use until I got home. (I think I was in California.) I'm still using that watch and I don't think I'll ever wear a wrist watch again. Besides, us old guys are supposed to have a watch like that.
