Or even better, from a commercial for some kids' game: "Game cards do not actually talk." When, at least in my opinion, even the most gullible little children should quite easily be able to figure that out for themselves (excessive animation in the ad, etc.) And that disclaimer is not only printed on screen, but *read out loud* (so little kids not yet of reading age won't be disappointed when they get the game, I suppose)...

So true. At least the push-down-and-turn type I can handle... however, I cannot *stand* those "align the little microscopic arrows and push up with all your might, and all that will happen is that your fingernail will break off" type.

And while we're discussing awful "innovations" in packaging, how about that darned adhesive tape label that they put on the top of CD cases when they package them? If it were easy to get it off in one piece, that'd be one thing...but, well, those of you who've tried to open such a case should know quite well what I'm talking about.
