Well, I don't really know from the best movie of all time... I've not seen all the movies, so I canna really judge that. But I can give you a list of my personal favourites.
Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey (very touching; always makes me cry)
The Blues Brothers (Roger Ebert called it "the Sherman Tank of musicals")
Mr. Holland's Opus (I had a music teacher in high school who had a profound influence on me)
Shakespeare In Love (I'm a big fan of Slick Willy, and this is Willy at his slickest. Gotta love Tom Stoppard)
Citizen Kane (I know you said not to say it, but I do think it's a great movie)
Tucker: a Man and His Dream (Wonderful story, and it's true to boot. Plus, the cars are wonderful)
Get Shorty (I love mob movies, and this is the funnest, even if it's not of the caliber of "The Godfather")
And my dark horse candidate: Pete's Dragon (Quality of acting, casting, singing, cinematography and such aside, a very fun movie with some wonderful songs)
