I'd like to do it all again with a few bucks in my pocket. That's really about all I would change. If I had been able to spend ten bucks a week, I could have had a real blast. A buck in 1950 was a lot more money than it is now. > > Howard > > I'm jealous of people who think of one of their high school years as the best of their life. I've never seen him in anything and simply MUST go see what all the fuss is about.
Notice that I said "best years of my youth." I've had some really great years since I was youthful. I taught school for 33 years, have been married for 53 years, have children and grand children, have traveled extensively and I have enjoyed a great life. I guess at my age you tend to look back a lot, but I am also looking forward to the funture. I still haven't been to Spain, haven't watched a space ship leave Cape Canaveral, and haven't driven across Texas. Howard
