I understand most Canadians speak English, which is important to a monolingual old coot like me.

I checked off all 50 US states a long time ago, and I think I am up to five Canadian provinces, plus about that many Mexican states. There are still lots of places in North America that I need to see.

I'm going to Italy in a few days and I don't speak any Italian. I wonder how that will work out.
