6: Silent Running
Two scenes: When Bruce Dern has to sacrifice most of the arborita in order to save one, and when Hughie and Dewey get hit by meteors.

5: The Iron Giant
When the the eponymous giant sacrifices himself to save the town.

4: It's a Wonderful Life
The scene when every wants to withdraw their money, and Jimmie Stewart convinces them to only take what they need for a few days.

3: Beauty and the Beast
Pretty much the entire movie, I think.

2: Der Golem
When the golem is destroyed at the end of the movie.

1: Terminator 2
The scene at the end with the thumb, and the molten steel. Saddest moment in cinema history.

OK, so four of my crying moments are about the destruction of robots. What does that say about me?
