Go back to the place where you left your crate. Use your rope and something in the shack. You need to work at it a couple of times. Try everything. try everything 2 or 3 times. Once you get the crate go to the stable. Be patient (wait wait) hint hint. Forget about the coin you lost to the balloon guy. No big deal.
