I don't like dumping out personal problems on the board too often, but here goes since I haven't for a while and since the activity around here has been slower than the seven-year itch lately (what's with that, anyway?).

My mom's having health issues. She thinks she might have cancer. Let me rephrase that: She's scared to death she might have cancer. That's what her mom died from. She always has abdominal pain, and after years of trying to lose weight and being only marginally successful (not that she was really overweight to begin with), she's suddenly losing weight at an incredible rate. She's gone from a size 8 to a size 6 and almost a size 4 in like two months without varying her diet at all and without really exercising.

The doctors are moving at a pace slightly slower than glacial. They can't find anything from the tests they've done, and they just keep referring her to other doctors. They keep delaying tests ("Try this first, and if that doesn't work, THEN we'll test you"). It's incredibly frustrating.

We're all kind of scared. Except for Mom, who's really scared. If you all could send a little prayer this way, it would really help.
