The trick to mapping out the garden is to read the instructions the game gives you. Example- as you enter the garden you come to a" light breeze". The game also tells you that the NORTH PATH goes EAST. You should make an arrow that goes North and make the arrow continue East. Some areas in the garden are large and some are small. If you discribe the place you're in and put arrows going N-S-E-W you won't get lost. There are many areas that do not go South or North ect. in that case draw a dark line showing it is a dead end. If you put a square around each area it is easier to see. From your inventory I am pretty sure you got past the LION. You still need something from the guy you fed the fish to. He is in the forest West of the sphinx. You need to talk to him a second time. He will give you something. You have almost everything you need to enter the castle in the garden. Go E from where the sound of the bats Sooor. Good Luck. Work on that map of the garden.
