I know EXACTLY how that feels.
As for how to help, I have a couple of suggestions - you may already be doing some of these things (in fact, I'm pretty sure you are) but I'm going to say them all anyway.
You should first of all realize that it is understandable that you would feel this way - a lot of times anxiety about "things-in-general" comes with depression. Secondly, try your best not to overanalyze yourself - it's always good to be self-aware, but not to the point where you are having to have a reason for everything.
Learn to be able to sit quietly and listen to your breathing. Try to meditate or pray, or just think about one word like "peace" over and over as you take deep breaths. Do this throughout the day. Realize that the breaks that you need in order to recharge your mind and emotions may need to be longer and/or more frequent than you are used to, and there is nothing wrong with that. Proper mental and emotional rest will keep your mind and your body healthier.
If you can, let people you live with or are around often know in advance that you are experiencing anxiety about "everything and nothing". Sometimes it can be a real help to have people who understand that you're not just "making a big deal out of nothing".
Lastly, I'd encourage you to remember that God can bring peace in the midst of the most troubling storm. For me, it's been really hard to convert this knowledge into a practical thing that actually helps me calm down when I am very anxious. It has been years and God is still taking me through the process. But keeping this knowledge in your mind whenever you are panicked is such an important thing.
