Beginning with a recap of The Mummy's Hand, Steve Banning, now aged and with children, reminisces about his adventures in Egypt. Meanwhile, through what appears to be a discontinuity between the two films, the mummy is back again, this time to storm over Massachusetts, killing the survivors of the previous film. The plot is thinner, and something is lost in the transition from Egypt to Massachusetts; nevertheless, The Mummy's Tomb will probably be an enjoyable diversion for fans of old fashioned monster movies.
