First of three Dexter Riley stories made by Disney. Like most of the live-action Disney films of the sixties and seventies, The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes is simple, unsophisticated, unassuming, silly, and fun for the young at heart. The story has Riley getting electrocuted by a computer and subsequently discovering he's become a genius. For some, it'll be tiresome, but for others, hilarious. The funniest scenes involve Riley exploiting his new found abilities, but, unfortunately, the slapstick provided by gangsters and gamblers who become interested in Riley is almost unbearable.
