Huh. I would not have thought of it as being even remotely obscure - it was the first thing I thought of for it. Possibly it's a British thing. For some reason, a couple of the clues have suggested that the creator is British, but I might be reading too much into it.
But I do agree that it doesn't fit the same pattern as the rest of the clues, and feels somewhat unsatisfying.
