You're not offending anyone, you're just metaphorically shooting yourself in the foot. 9 times out of 10, it's usually more helpful to post when you are stuck on a specific puzzle and have at least made some attempts to progress. There's a LOT to do in that side of Larosis, so much so that covering it all would be such a spoiler that the post would be deleted before you could see it.

Basically, explore EVERYWHERE you can in the square, and map each screen out as you go. Also, pay attention to what certain characters tell you, especially if you wind up in jail with them. Which, incidentally, will be a sign of progress.
