Well, the drawbridge is NOT one-way, you can just walk back inside. (If you can't, consult the Indian for help.)
Remember where you got that coin that bought you the "Snookie Wookums" password? Go back to that room in the northern fortress. Notice the presence of the door. See what happens when you try to open it. :)
