Now I know the Environment Club doesn't require grammar fanatics, but...

Once you've deciphered the code, keep in mind: it won't be useful until you've smoked out all the bats in the lower initial cave. You have to figure out how to eliminate the bat brigade with the torch and the (fortunately) unlimited supply of moss yourself.
