I don't know why I like it. I must have seen it 10 times and I still don't know why I like it. It's crude and offensive in every way, it's stupid, it's badly done, it's lame. But for some reason I just can't help liking it.
As a matter of interest, the guy who played Riff Raff is a New Zealander, and when they did it here as a stage show a few years back, the Narrator was played by New Zealand's ex-Prime Minister Sir Robert Muldoon.
I'm not sure if that's something I should be proud of or not, but I somehow can't see George Bush doing the same thing in the USA.
