Running in Circles - Fantasy Quest 2

Hi. I've been working on FQ2 for days, running in circles and trying every option ten times, but I just can't seem to go anywhere! I'd really appreciate any hints or help on what to do now. Thanks! (Note: I believe that I have given the soothsayer all the gold coins needed for the game)

20 Onions
Silver Key
Bucket of Sap
Pliers
Sword
2 Tree Branches
Crown of Destiny
Bottle Opener
Iron Support
Rusty Key
Sack
Float Ring
Cross
Red Potion
Sunstone
Small Silver Coin
