Me too, more or less. Cult movies don't get made on purpose, and nobody predicts which ones they'll be before they've seen them (often not even after). Backlash is inevitable, but what will be interesting to see is when. Will it be opening day when the cries of crushed expectations sound? Or will people be determined enough to like it -- or too sheepish to admit nine months' of eager anticipation was foolish -- that the backlash won't happen for a month or two after? Then again, maybe it'll be just non-bad enough that people will be ok with insisting it's good.
