Myself I like tne new Mummy, my all time favorite is The Monster in Young Frankenstine, but the old silent movie of Phantom of the Opera is the best from the classic old movies.

What a question. There's the infamous silver balls from the "Phantasm" movies which are pretty good. No personality with deadly accuracy and scary in a sort of non-living way. There's the Aliens from "Alien" and "Aliens" (they made two other movies, but let's forget about them). Utterly ruthless killing machines and the various forms (face-hugger, chest-burster, xenomorph, queen) are all terror inspiring. What about the hand from "Evil Dead 2"? Man, there's just too much good stuff to chose from...
