Fibromyalgia involves chronic pain and fatigue and often has no easily recognizable cause or cure. I was diagnosed with that a couple years ago. Low thyroid function, left untreated, can also cause pain and fatigue. I had taken medicine (synthetic thyroid hormone) for that a long time ago, but then my blood tests turned out normal so the doctors had me stop the medicine. Recently I have gone back to the idea of a problem with the thyroid, because of reading about studies that say that a "normal" level of hormone is not actually normal at all, leaving millions of people left untreated.

So yesterday was the first day I took synthetic thyroid hormone again. I am praying for a miracle, because I know God will provide one in my life. (And even this knowledge is a miracle, because for so long I had been without hope.) I just do not know when that miracle will happen. If you pray, could you please pray for me? Could you pray that the medicine will help the pain and the fatigue and be a miraculous healing? And also, that if God chooses to provide a miracle in a different way at a different time, that I would have the courage to accept that, and the strength to see how God is using the pain to make me a better person.
